Default Need some background on Remington Bronze-point 150 gr., spitzers?

Found a box of Remington Bronze points, [.30 Cal.] and I trying to figure how to use for hunting.

when i hunted back in the 80's and 90's, one my coworkers sweared by them,

he used a Remington 760 , and 150 gr bronzepoints exclusively, and very successfully,

one shot one kill almost every time

Load as you would for any other 30 cal, 150 Gr bullet.
The "bronze tip" is an expansion aid, its driven back into the lead core on impact to start rapid mushrooming. Use them as you'd use any fast expanding soft-point.

In addition to the above mentioned bronze tip aiding expansion, the bronze tip also resisted deformation of the bullet tip in recoil against the magazine.
