This proves nothing, but my Marlin 30-30 was miles better than the Winchester. Rossi made some good pistols (again, my opion).

If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
My opinion, yes, Marlins were much better.
Rossi '92. I've read where some of the old westerns were shot with the Rossi's instead of the Winchesters due to cost. Kind of hard to believe as neither cost that much.
I have several Rossi 38's and 357's. Shame they sold out to Taurus. Taurus is good but many of the models got modified or eliminated.
I only had the one Rossi .38. That was fifteen yrs. ago. You could probably tell me the model no. It was three digits and I think it started with 4. Anyway I sold it to a cop in training through a guy I worked with. Word got back that he liked it. No surprise, it was accurate. I come across an accurate pistol about once every ten years. I need to stop selling them.

When I was a kid I would go to our local library with three library cards
With my junior one I'd get an adventure story like Coral Island
With my Dad's - a Zane Grey Western
With my Mother's - a murder mystery
I've read practically all Louis L'Amore's stories, Zane Grey, Luke Short.
I have dozens, maybe a hundred Western movies in my collection.
