Default Kimber of Oregon 82 G

Shot a 50 yd 1/2" 10 dot challenge this afternoon. Rifle is my Kimber 82G with Sightron SIII 45x45. Ammo is Eley 10X. Shot off front rest and rear bag. Sort of like hunting field mice at 50yds. Whatta Hobby!

    my CMP Kimber did ok
tried a few brands of ammo, and a Unertl on top, and never found a brand (tried 4 IIRC) that it liked

as in my 52's did better

I have settled on ELEY tenex or ELEY semi-auto benchrest for all my precision 22s. Expensive, but it beats wasting ammo.

I ran one of those drills with my Rem 37,
it did really well at 50, don't recall the ammo,,

    either PMC Target
RWS or one of the Wolf brands (Match Extra or Match Target)

.22 rimfire ammo is always a topic due to the fact that different loads work best in different guns. This is to a much greater extent than other calibers. While it is not target ammo, the stuff that gives me pretty consistent results in my .22s has always been CCI Mini Mags. I'm sure there are guns the Mini Mags don't work that well in but its gotten to the point where they are my default position.

Ely Tenex has provided great results for me but at the cost of the stuff it should.
