    Default Something new to try.

Friend sent me these stainless steel front bands to try in unitizing my M14 gas systems. Now to warm them up , bend the tabs and mate them with USGI cylinders. Whatta Hobby!

Doubtless there is a good reason for using a SS part over the common GI item. Understand it would resist corrosion, etc. better, but is it stronger, better? One day some way may try to come up w/ a M-1A so I tend to read this and similar posts with interest. Sincerely. bruce.

My friend had these made as an experiment toward his unitizing and selling M14s but they ended up being cost prohibited hence my ability to come by them.
