Well I got the cylinder and it looks to be a few thousands long , when you assemble the gun the cylinder drags on the barrel . Can the wedge adjust this or do you lap the front of the cylinder to fit the gun the original cylinder is a good fit .

Colt gap between barrel and cylinder ,002 to .003 Remington is larger
I remove from barrel in a lathe or you could file & stone it down, correct wedge
adjustment is also important
The replacement cylinder is .006 longer than the original , and I want to shoot both cylinders in the same gun . The original fits fine the only option I see is matching the original cylinder so they both match the gun or am I missing something .
