The primary bidder, and the current high bid, is the same one who bought the boxed Stevens last week.

A definite possibility, but he keeps bidding against himself and did the same with the Stevens. If the idea was to bid up the ultimate sales price he nailed himself by getting stuck with the high bid. Again, a definite possibility.
Rick in an honest dealer. I doubt he would do that.
