Any information (SRS?) on SA rifle #1027872 would be greatly appreciated. The barrel is marked SA 10-18 and the receiver has been "hatcher holed." It has a J5 bolt and the bore is very nice. The WWI production S stock was lightly sanded and apparently refinished long ago (faint JFC cartouche and circle P) and comes with a high-hump handguard. The metal finish is very dark Parkerizing overall, with a mixture of blued WWI era parts. The bolt also appears to be blued but is somewhat faded and thinning in spots. The butt plate is stippled and the front sight blade is taller and thicker than those generally encountered. Unfortunately, I didn't have my cell phone with me when I came across it, so no photos for now. Thanks in advance for any insight anyone can offer on this piece.
