Glad to hear some common sense remains in our legal system.

Can't say I disagree. My ma forced it upon us as kids.
2,600 calories is a great deal of food. More than they give recovering cardiac patients in Ontario hospitals. CF PBI troopies on exercise require 3,000 to 4,000 per day.
They should put the criminals on hospital food then listen to the complaints. I was ready to assault the kitchen after the by-pass surgery. Food is not only insufficient. It's really crappy too.
"...common sense remains in our legal system..." Not really. The Federal Court agreed to hear the case in the first place.
    Spelling and grammar count!

2,600 is a lot of calories for someone incarcerated. Powdered milk is as good as powdered eggs and cheese.

If we had common sense in our legal system, the guy filing the suit -- and his lawyer -- should have been held in contempt for a frivolous filing.

Many of the jailhouse lawyers that I have been in contact do their own filing, their public pretenders usually don't.
