"There's a race of men that don't fit in,
A race that can't stay still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
And they roam the world at will." - Robert Service
Horrible
Really horrible.
Vintage recoil pad....(Sgt. Scott that was sarcasm). 3 plus on horrible.
Definitely has that been there done that look. I've never owned one in any condition. But, if it could be had for the right price (subjective) it would certainly fill a hole in the collections of maybe 97 or 98% of all collectors of military shotguns.
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ
I doubt I would pay over $100 for that. It is just too screwed up.
There are a few things that don't look right about the gun.
The butt swivel looks a little high,and the notches in the barrel were put there afterwards...Ithaca trench guns had no notches or faint ones.
May have been a trainer..Has anyone check the Ithaca record to verify, my records are a little blurry.
What ever it sells for. You will have to pay more for the handguard than the gun IF you can find one.
It is right in that area between trench and trainer, you would need to determine if the gun is solid frame. Or find it in the records. Not my job.
