Which leather sheath is earlier of the two you picture. I have a Kabar that has a sheath with the elongated rivets such as in the LH pic. Also, when were the leather sheaths issued, and were they phased out when the fiberglass scabbard showed up?
Have a really BIG one with "DROS URDDAS CYMRU" on the blade
