    Something wrong there. WWI markings with a WWII stock. Even if the gun was arsenal rebuilt (and it would be re-blued at Winchester) it would never have inspectors marks on the stock.

    I thought it was just a put together too.
    I also agree I isn't right . But it came from
    TVA and they probably just changed out the
    Stock on it at some point... Looks like it's parkerized to me
    But a old park job

    You keep saying "came from TVA".
    I did buy a M12 trenchgun back in the early 1990's that came from TVA. Actually, it came from a dealer who had a group of M12's they sold off. It was a re-do. Parked with a RIA stamp in the Bishop stock. BUT, it ALSO had a TVA property tag affixed to the receiver.

    If yours does not have a property tag, I question it. Did you buy it DIRECTLY from TVA with paperwork, or from someone who SAID it came from TVA? Because, anyone can say anything.
