    Default Bolts mfd. by USMC

When did United Shoe make bolts for M1917s?

Update - found a few forums that indicate they were WW2 replacements. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks. I'm thinking about replacing the Eddystone bolt on my M1917 Winchester but not with a WW2 part so I'll pass on the NOS looking USMC bolt being offered on eBay. The Eddystone bolt is the final non-W part on my M1917 but it still passes headspace and looks decent.

Yes, I remember you are looking for one. I guess they aren't to common on the loose now. Maybe broaden your search with a trade with someone with an Eddystone rifle mismatched bolt.

usmc and K marked bolts are 8620 steel, were as originals are NS steel.
8620 bolts will feel smoother then the NS bolts
if it aint broke...fix it till it finally is.
