    Default Late production 1903

I know that the general consensus is that C stocks and/or scant stocks were never used on new production rifles but is it possible or more appropriately likely that a late '03 in the 1.51 million range could have been assembles with a scant stock as original equipment?

    Late 1942, early 1943, IIRC.
