    Default Reccomended/legal 10/22 trigger pull weight?

    The trigger pull on my 1978 10/22 is horrendous so I want to get it lightened and smoothed up a bit. What is the recommended, and /or legal pull weight for various ranges and competitions?

    Be aware: the CMP rimfire sporter match rules specify a minimum 3lb trigger pull.
