  1. Default Sporter triggers

I asked this on another forum and thought I would ask here as well. I'm thinking about putting a sporter trigger in my sporterized eddystone and would like some input from people with experience with them. I've seen Dayton and Timney brands. Is one better than the other?
    Any install problems or notes?
    Thanks. john

My Timney works fine on my '17. There are two lengths for replacement triggers ....... one for standard '17 without straightened trigger guard and another (shorter) for a straightened trigger guard.
Make sure you get the correct one.

First time over on this forum from the Krag side. Picked up a sportered 1917 last week with a DT trigger. Some folks seem to have issues with them, but I've got mine set at 1 lb and it passes the bolt-slam test fine. Shot it at a modified military match this week with no issues.
