Krag barrels from Numrich
I see Numrich has new 30" barrels in stock. Since the rear sight holes are the same thread as Criterion barrels, I'm going to guess that's what they are (maybe 2nds!). You get bluing and their repro front sight blade and base installed for only $50 more than CMP price. I wonder how much the CMP north store would charge me to parkerize and install a new barrel with front sight base on my parked Krag? Rhetorical question, I have the wrench, vise, and parkerizing solution, why would I pay them. For those of you hoping to shoot in Cast Bullet Association matches, neither barrel is legal in their military class.
