    Default Sig Sauer/GSG 1911 22lr

The grip safety is horrendous and too large on these pistols. Anyone know if a common grip safety will fit? I understand these pistols are designed after the Colt 80 series.
    Thank you, gentlemen
Due to ammo shortages, no warning shot will be fired

I have one of each, a Colt Series 80 and a GSG labeled 1911-22. The grip safeties of both are identical in size except the GSG safety has a larger beaver tail. From the outside, they look the same. Both pistols feel pretty much the same in my hand. I also have one of those Browning 1911-22s that are about 85% of the size of a regular 1911. I'm 6'4" and the Browning feels pretty small in my hand but for kids and those with smaller hands, it's a perfect size.
