Tommy Lee Jones as MacArthur as occupation honcho! OK as long as you forget that the real MacArthur had a clipped Northeastern Accent. Looks like a great restored C-54 and high tensions as Mac in the Dai ichi Building decides the fate of the Emperor and Renegade Japanese guerrilla holdouts attack...

Oh by the way, jap officers tried to destroy the recording of the emperors surrender speech. But a bombing raid cut off the electricity to the imperial palace the night before it was to be broadcast , and they couldn't find it.
