Default New 1917 Swede Mod 96

Beautiful, but not all matching (bolt release is 4 numbers off, floorplate about 100 off). Excellent bore and finish, original and minty stock (matches receiver and bolt). Bought some Privi Partisan 139 Gr. ball and hope to shoot it this weekend. In case it shoots really high at 100 yards, does anyone know of a source for higher front sight blades? I don't plan on reloading unless necessary as I only really plan to shoot it at Perry Vintage match in 2012 Thanks

I've seen the front sight blades offered...but mine really didn't need one..and I don't recall just where I saw the tall blades.

Shouldn't be too had to find if you need one...I bet Brownells or Midway will have tall sight blades.

Sarco, Samco, Numrich should all have them. I shoot the FMJ for the brass to reload. I assume the ball is just as good. You can get more accuracy with reloads but you will be just fine with the Privi.
