    Default U.S. Air Corps Binder

I picked up this item a few days ago and am not quite sure what it is. At first it appeared to be some sort of album, but the slots on the inside don't make a lot of sense for holding photos. Anyone have an idea as to the purpose and time period for this item.

    Thanks for any help offered,
    azimuth

Any chance that it might be part of a flight log book? Just a thought.

My guess is it is a PX item and possibly originally had letter writing paper and envelopes.

I would say WW11, after the war it was US Air Force, when it became separate service. (late 40's?)

Thanks, I appreciate the replies as they all sound like feasible answers. I'm guessing that someone out there has run across one of these in the past and knows exactly what it is.
