    Default Gun shop M1D

I was in a gun shop while house hunting. Nice shop, well stocked with lots of stuff. I looked at an Enfield Sniper and then ask to look at an M1D. I ask if it has CMP papers, the salesman says no, but tells me "it's all correct." I look at it and the rifle has a 7 million serial number.......

Maybe he just doesn't know that it is an SA Inc receiver.

Then the sales man is correct it is a commercial M1D made by S.A. INC. M1D the term "correct" is meaningless.

  3. Default

SA Inc made M1D's and M1C's in the mid 80's. My first M1 was a SA inc which I paid for new in box for $480 in 1985. It was all USGI except the receiver and came with a bedded stock. I used to have a brochure and if I remember the D's then were about $900 and the C's around 1k and this was 1985.
