7,92x57 formed into 7,62x51

I have some of these in my small collection, it seems that years ago, it was difficult to find much 7,62mm ball. The FN FAL, M1
rifles rebarreled to 7,62mm plus bolt action conversions were available but not a lot of 7,62mm (unless you bought commercial)P1010008_0008.jpgP1010007_0007.jpgP1010009_0009.jpg

Someone converted Israeli 7,92x57 to 7,62x51 and was selling it (photos) last photo shows a converted case and original 7,62 NATO cartridge


While on the same subject, also have seen 7,62x45mm converted to 7,62x39 Soviet too
