To get this forum moving again, some pics----
Five K98k.s, matched vet bring backs. All purchased at LGS in late 50's early 60's. Top: is S/42 1936, made the rounds thru a small bunch of 'gun friends' and ended back with me years later. Even John Sukey owned it for a spell. Second: is S/42 1936 about 1000 numbers higher then top one. Third is a Banner, 41. Forth: byf 42 Fifth: byf 44. (Top one has been lightly sanded and finished. Some of the others have a light coat of finish also but no sanding. Candy for your eyes. 100_0401.jpg
