Bought a M1903 match rifle. Story is it belonged to a former military competitor (no name, etc).

Included is a leather, shearling lined, Boyt rifle case.

Stenciled on the case is:

USARHAN (or USARHAW ? not sure of the last letter)
RIFLE-TEAM
35

Can any of you translate the USARHAN (or USARHAW)??

I suppose the USAR is US Army Reserve but the last three letters has me stumped. Whatever organization it was, it had a rifle team back in the day.

I like the old gear and the history that goes with it.

Regards
