    I was always amazed we would move into a valley only take the floor where the roads were. Not till mid '68 did we take the hill tops first. The Marines had that from the get go. A good friend wrote to me from I corps that he spent most of hie time on the hill tops in '67. I was in Dak To in 10/11 '67 and it was the same thing with them on top and us in the valley. #10
