    Default Screw your Customer Base

General Motors is reporting your driving habits to LexisNexis, who then furnishes the information to your insurance company. They advertise, promote, and sell high performance cars, and then report you if you exceed the speed limit.

Supposedly you can get your report from LexisNexis.

If one company does this you can bet they all will soon if not already. Apparently this is info the ins companies pay for--not only to raise rates but to deny claims.

Auto rental companies have been doing this for years.

Ford denies that they do, but the best way to find out is to request your report from LexisNexis.

LexisNexis has to have information reported to them to start a file.
