Now this is a slap.

In the movie "The Opposite Sex" there is a scene in which June Allyson is to slaps Joan Collins. Allyson couldn't bring herself to hit Collins and after numerous attempts to get it right the director yelled "JUNIE JUST HIT HER." This is the result, Collins shudders at the impact and her earrings go flying. I think if Allyson hit her with a closed fist she might have gone down. The expression an Collins face after the blow shows she actually was hurt and if you look closely you can see a bruise starting to rise on the left side of Collins face. Collins held it together after getting hit, partly because, I suspect, neither she or Allyson wanted another take of that one! In a later interview Collins said she missed two days of work because of that lick and later said "don't get hit by June Allyson."
