    Here's a sweet Springfield 1922 M1 I posted photos of here quite a few years back; figured I'd share it with all of you once more. Picked it up at the Chantilly Gun Show probably 10-12 years ago now in this condition. It appears to have its original M1 bolt and hardware. Welcome all comments on it, of course.

    Lookin? great, Wolf . . . .

    I have the same rifle, albeit a few years older.

    Looks like someone changed out the butt plate and installed a globe front sight . . .otherwise just like mine.

    This version was called the ?sales? rifle.

    ?Service? versions were not normally D&T?d for scopes and had ?grasping groove? stocks with an ?03-type butt plate (without trapdoor)

    Also, much more drop at comb and heel.
