Glad you found the information helpful. Whatta Hobby!

In regard to the deer concern, not sure where you are, but here in Arkansas CWD is starting to show up. Not sure what our latest data is, though,

NW CT. During the rut, most deer look pretty haggard around here especially the young an up and coming guys. Don't think it's a problem with food or too many deer. Most of the year they are tip top. Whatta Hobby!

Out playing with a Savage 223 this morning on one of the flyswatter targets at 100 yds. A little windy but what the hey. Only scored an 8 after doing a 10 with her big brother in .308 last week. Rifle is in a MDT ORYX chassis and scoped with a Night Force competition 15-55x52 on Leupold QRW rings. Ammo is handloads Starline brass with Berger 73 gn over 23 gn of Varget. Whatta Hobby!

Getting down to the nitty gritty on a decent 100 yd load for the Savage 110 .223 20" 1-9 bull barrel. Scope is NF Competition 15-55x52. Brass used is new weighed Starline with 1 gn segregation. Cold clean bore 10 rnd group was shot with 23 gn Varget pushing same 73 gn Berger bullet for an initial cold clean bore .45. After each group was shot a dry patch was pulled through the bore and cooler run for 5 minutes. Me thinks the .2 moa final load will do nicely on the fly swatter challenge. Shot off a front rest with rear bunny bag. Whatta Hobby!
