I saw my first type 54 pistol in while in the Army, 1971. I presently have a AK and a SKS and have always wanted a period correct pistol for my collection. Last week I found a type 54 dated 1964 with matching numbers, $400.00 It has new wood commercial grips, but the barrel is a sewer pipe due to corrosive powder and environment. How hard is it to replace barrel? Does the different Tokarevs barrels tt-33 etc. interchange? TIA-old grunt
