    Default TD serial numbers?

I seem to have misplaced my old TD serial number list that someone was nice enough to give me on here years back.
    I have true carbine s/N177262*.
If someone wou;d post that again I would appreciate it, and thanks.

I do not know of any serial number list on line. Unless you refer to the SRS site that used to post their research on line for free use. That has been taken down by the new owner. There are five serial number research books published and contain SRS research information up until Mr. Mallory passed on.
There are many carbines listed in book 2 in the range of your carbine they are all in the 170M range so would be * carbines produced in 1881 but units reporting would not have thought that of any use to report beyond serial number.
Yours is not listed but all around that number were issued to volunteer signal corp units in 1898 for the Spanish war. Hope this helps.

A star marked carbine with that serial number would have been made in 1881.
