Thread: M1 NM barrel

  1. #1

    Default M1 NM barrel

Very early M1 Rifle National Match barrel. Had the barrel for years, but never cleaned any of the dried grease and grime off. Cleaned it off and a barrel transferred to the NM program. Still has the black plastic end caps.

    Marked S-A 1-52

I probably wouldn't have paid much attention to the marking, but something told me I had seen that same marking somewhere before. After a little searching I found it in a paper the Major Dick Culver had sent me that he did on the National Match rifles about 2000. There was a photo of the same type barrel.
