Default 22 lr 100 yd practice.

Just for the halibut I did a little 100 yd test on my own this morning prone off bipod with my Kimber 82G using Tac-22, Eley tenex and Eley semi-auto benchrest ammo. 1 8" Dirty Bird for each. 75 deg 88% humidity wind nothing to 8 mph. I just waited for the range flags to drop. My rifle prefers the Eley sa br over the others at this point. Ammo makes a huge difference.

    Max spread. 1. Eley Semi-Auto benchrest 22lr 1" score 100 - 10x.
    2. Eley tenex 22lr 1.5" score 100 - 10x
    3. Norma Tac-22 2.6" score 100 - 6x

Ammo makes a big difference. Yep! Especially with the .22 LR cartridge. Sincerely. bruce.

Picked up an Anschutz 54 a while back and found a source of 1000" targets. Will build a range at the cabin and see if the club will let me build one too.
Thanks for the research; the targets aren't a lot bigger than those 10 rings.
