Thread: Glock 21

  1. Default Glock 21

The .45 ACP. Anyone have experience with one? LGS has 20% off tomorrow so... They have 9, 10 and 45 calibers.

    Decisions, decisions.

  2. Default

Had one in .45, liked it a lot, shot great with it at the range. Ended up letting it go because the standard grip was just a bit too "fat" for my hand. The slim frame model probably would have been a diffrent story but wasn't available at the time.

the first model or whatever Glock calls it, is just a hair big for my hands

I've had one for 10 years or so and never shot it. It's a generation 3 model. Would that be the large grip frame or the slender frame?

Held the 21, 43 and 48. Didn't like any of them; I prefer flat mainspring housings on my 1911s and felt the Glocks were not seated square.

    Thank you for your input.

    glocks are like that,
you like them , or you don't

I tolerate them only because I have the 2, both are house guns, and range guns,

I would never carry on or use one as a car or truck gun,

as I mentioned, the 30 fits me and I can hit with it,

the 17 I have fits me and I can hit with it,

but I am accustomed to a 1911 and Sigs,,,, so I will stck with them

Found this from a seller on GB. I guess mine is a fatty.

"The Glock 21SF Generation 3 has some minor exterior design changes as compared to the Glock 21. The short grip frame is noticeably thinner from the backstrap to the trigger, and it incorporates the Glock Rail. It has an ambidextrous magazine release. Note: The redesigned magazines will function in both designs, but the old magazines don't have the necessary cut out in the front of the magazines to function in the redesigned weapon."
