    Default AR-10 scope recommendations

I need your help choosing an ar-10 scope. I have read several comprehensive articles, more specifically one from this site https://guntrusted.com/, and it has solid information. My budget is about $ 500, I shoot 200-400 yards, target shooting. I was thinking about Primary Arms 4-14x44.
Any scope suggestions for a lightweight AR-10 build?

I've used the Leupold Mk AR (1.5-4x) and the cabelas branded AR scope with a similar power on AR15's and both work well and were within your budget,

at the distance you are shooting just about any reputable (bushnell , burris, Vortex, Leupold etc ) would do,

primary arms does some good scopes, as you mentioned

Pay attention to rings too. I am satisfied with the ARMS rings I used years ago. POI does not change one mounting to the next.

My problem with a scope is choosing which reticle works for me. You may have more experience shooting at paper than I do.

If you are not adverse to used, this place is a source: https://theshooterscorner.com/files/...21__SCOPES.pdf I have bought both a used Redfield 6400 fixed and an 03A3 barrel from them both were better than described and a good deal in my opinion. The Redfield is a fixed 24 power, dot reticle, which resides on my model 700 in 6.5 Swede, it is clear as a bell and works very well all the way out to 600 yards. Hope this helps. Jim
