  1. Default Wilde Tool grips

    I just got a 1942 WT that was supposed to have the correct grips, when I unpacked it they lack the black rectagular area around the screw. The grips look otherwise correct and in good shape. They are brown with black speckles and no markings as in bayonet points #23. Can that black rectangle be "wiped off"? Is this common? I will post some pics soon.

    No, the black rectangle cannot be wiped off. it is molded into the handle. It is however common to have cracks around and in the black portion.
