You can get weather forecasts 5,7,10 days out. If they predict rain, well maybe it rains maybe it doesn't (at least in AZ). But if they forecast wind you can bet it will be windy.

we are going to get something between 0 to 26" of snow, then rain and sleet,
local guesses are a couple inches, followed by rain,

Windy down here too and of course cold. Seems like we get cold weather down here every year around this time since recorded weather history and evidence from prehistoric times as well.
Too cold to go out just to pee.

getting warmer now, snow is turning to sleet, and will warm up to rain tonight,
not much accumulation, may a couple inches on the grass
