  1. Default Indian Scout rifle

I have this Trapdoor according to SRS SN 118328, model 1873 ,Indian Scout, Fort Bowie, Arizona 04 01 1882
    Cartouch is ESA 1878
The info is from Record Group 391 if anyone has access to that I would love to see more info
I have had a few other Trapdoors but have never seen these numbers stamped on the barrel I though maybe someone would know the meaning of the markings

There are 30 such rifles listed by William Yates as going to Ft. Bowie.
this rifle has I believe the number 28 on it.
