Thank you for looking. It has the original 12-18 barrel(in good shape) so I figured it hadn't done or been anywhere interesting, but just wanted to check.

Some rifles in that range were sold as receivers. Most of the rifles being built in that era were NM or Sporters. The 12-18 barrel is much too early to be original to the rifle UNLESS Springfield assembled some rifles in the early 30's ( when the receiver was produced ) using older barrels.
