    Yes they are.

    I've met both Sikhs and Gurkhas .... British trained... and you can bet they can fight

    "...and Gurkha's..." The Gurkha Rifles Regiment of the British Army are actually considered to be mercs since they come from Nepal that isn't and never has been part of The Commonwealth. Their idea of taking out a sentry is to remove his head with a kukri. They can fight but you'd never know they were there.
    You really need to see a Rifle Regiment marching. Looks like a big green centipede. Rifle Regiments march at 140 paces per minute(the rest of us, except for the Scottish who march at 90 paces per minute, stroll along at 120.) and most of 'em are built close to the ground.
