Default Loading some .450 busmaster cartridges.

Chilly day here in CT so I decided to load up some .450 bushmaster cartridges for my Savage project gun. New Starline cases, CCI 450 primers, Hornady 250 gr FTX over 27.7 gr of Lil'Gun. Whatta Hobby!

Had a chance to chrono this load today. 1850 fps at 12'. Holds a very clean .75 moa group at 100 yds off bipod using a 1.25 - 4 Leupold scope. I am sure it would be much better with a more powerful scope, but for a knock down the bad thing this will do just fine.
Rifle is a pre accutrigger Savage 110 LA with a Rhineland 18" .450 bushmaster barrel that I recently installed. Rifle weighs in at 10.75 lbs loaded with 4 in the gun.

    Whatta Hobby!

That is just a rock I dug out on my range. Makes a great bench for working on chain saws and of coarse for photos. Gets the early morning sun in that spot.
