We were using the Spanish "New Traditions" .50 cal. It is an OR-WA-CA legal nuzzle-loader with visible hammer and cap, and iron sights. They are pretty decent. Chrome-moly, 28" barrel, good trigger and weigh seven pounds. We like black powder, 100 gr over a "maxiball" is about all the barrel will burn.
