Default Where's the man that started the OFC?

A few years back, there was a WW2 veteran who was a machine gunner on Iwo Jima. He started a club which a lot of us joined called OFC (old farts club). What ever happened to him?

I sincerely hope he’s still with us, but someone who joined the US military in 1943 at the age of 18 would now be 95 years of age. Sadly, the members of the “Greatest Generation” will soon be a memory.

Clyde? He was posting on other sites, but now that he's been mentioned I'm unable to recall how recently.

Thomas Clyde Reedy, Jr. of Waco, Texas died 19 March 2016 in Denton, Texas. Clyde enlisted in the Marine Corps soon after he graduated from Waco High School in 1943. He was a Machine Gun Squad Leader and was severely wounded in action on Okinawa. Following his recovery he was stationed in China until his Discharge in 1946. A "China Marine" to the end! A good friend and a Hell Of A Marine. Semper Fi. B.Berry

Did he sign on as “Clyde in Dallas”.
