    Default Just Purchased Two M1903A4 rifles

    One a Z block, and the other a 499xxxx. Only one is scoped and it has the

    Faint FJA only viable cartouche
    5 'lucky charms' in front of magazine assembly

    REDFIELD marked scope base
    Staked screws
    NO riser shim under frot of base

    Barrel:
    RA
    12/43
    punch mark in flaming bomb

    Fine checkered buttplate

    Receiver markings:
    U.S.
    REMINGTON
    MODEL 03-A3

    Serial:
    499689x

    Scope:

    No data plate, screws present though
    rubber eye shade
    flip up caps on adjusting knobs
    sliding front sun shield
    light gray parkerized rings
    Enfield, everything else is just a rifle. Unless it's a Garand.

    A matter of the right place at the right time.

    All came from local estates being cleared out at the local gun shop.

    I went back the day after and bought the last one for a total of three.

    Nice find. I do some of my best picks at estate sales. Are you going to replace the missing scopes?
