    Cool Special photo

CSP is what you make it.

A picture of your gun is worth 1,000 words. A crappy picture is only worth 100.

    " Radio City - Rockettes"? World's Fair?

There are clues in the picture - insignia, sign, evening gloves & dance shoes.

Does anyone have a list of serial numbers? I would love to document a rifle in my collection to that picture, but not to the guy on the right!

Reminds me of a female drill sergeant back in the late 70's, when she barked out to her all female recruit platoon, "When I called you to attention I want to hear those clams snap!" LOL!! Of course you cannot say that now a days.

Tents and flag - probably Ft. Stewart in Georgia, home of the 3rd ID. Brodie helmets were still being used until WW2 so a 1930s photo is likely. The sign behind the girls, that can be partially read, says Wor.. and could be a clue. The soldier is in his dress uniform with 2 stripes, 4 hash marks, wearing his gaiters and holding his ‘03 for the photo. That takes care of Where and When. We may never know Who and What (add Why). Could it be a photo for a recruiting poster? Nah.
