Who rebuilt O-6x Garands?
On the old Jouster, I believe Jeremy revealed the USMC origin of the O-6x heel marked Garands. I can't remember or find this information. Can anyone provide this information? I provided a O-65 marked M1 for my SIL's nephew's 16th birthday as his three brothers received M1s on their 16th birthdays. I can not remember the background of the rifle and he is interested in anything I can tell him of the history of the rifle.
