  1. Default Firearm Advertisements From 1903 and 1908.

I have a Munsey's Mag. from Nov, 1903. And an Argosy Magazine from Oct, 1908.
For years I've wanted to take them apart, keep the ad. art, and chuck the pulp fiction.
Lately, I've had the time. With the chi-com plague about.

Printing and bookbinding have been my trade and passion since before JFK.
All aspects of The Graphic Arts, typography, photography, printing, binding, from lead type to silkscreen.
The historic methods of production right through the modern sheetfed, 4 color, digitally imaged, waterless, lithographic press.
Just before I retired I was running one like this, it was a very productive press.
Ink dried so fast you could take the paper from the delivery, drag it behind the press,
turn it over, load the feeder, and print the other side, same day.

In my garage is a complete working, circa 1880's printshop. No electricity needed. 'cept for lights at night.
Anyway that's why I like this kind of stuff. Two interests cross paths.

Here are 5 from Munsey's Mag. Nov, 1903..
