    Default Year of manufacture S&W K-38

    Photo shows a S&W K-38 with four screw frame and 8 3/8 inch barrel, the
    serial number is K 409015. Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture ?

    Thanks for the year of manufacture, it is single action only but someone did the conversion.

    This revolver is very accurate and the grips help too

    I did some bullseye shooting years ago with the M1911A1, also shot expert in service with 1911A1.

    Now I like to find the Italian Colt revolvers that are incomplete and convert them to cartridge kind of
    like the old gunsmiths did after the Civil War

    beautiful revolver. they don't make them like that any more.
