    I just can't stop staring at this rifle! Think this one threw me over the edge to total addiction??? Sorry, photos keep loading backwards!!

    For old readers of this board, I am STILL planning on completing my mockup M1882 28" Short Rifle, around a genuine rod-bayonet. Finally found a fairly close receiver, and have physically started reshaping the front end parts, including a latch base made by a friend. Will take pictures as I go. Maybe THIS winter? Problem is I have too many plans and not anywhere near enough time - "life" keeps getting in the way!
