In the past, my understanding was that Mike Kokolus was one of the best stock duplicators around. Has anyone used that outfit now that Mike has passed on?

I have not, by do have GG and C stocks made by Mike. My take would be that they had good patterns and that Mike used top quality walnut (which no doubt was reflected in the price). If his business inheritor stayed the course there then they have a shot.
To be honest I had to do a fair bit of inletting on both stocks to get things right. But when all was said and done the actions sat where they are supposed to, so I was happy with the result.
